About Our Client
I'm partnered with the Controller at a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company located near Alsip, IL. Offering their customers access to the best-in-class products in their niche, they are in full growth mode right now, looking to double the size of the company over the next few years My client loves to hire and retain top talent so that they can focus on sharing and transitioning their internal talent With that being said, they are now looking for a Financial Controller to join their team
Job Description
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting cycle, collaborating with department heads and senior management to develop accurate and actionable financial plans.Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making, driving business performance and profitability.Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business initiatives, assess risk, and drive strategic planning.Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities.Manage the financial systems and processes, including Oracle, Hyperion, or Essbase, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accountingManufacturing industry experience or relatedExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Regional travel availability as needed to support business operations and strategic initiatives.Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.
