The primary purpose of this position is to provide managerial control, plan and direct work for the Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) contracting office as well as to provide assistance to the Resource Management Chief and Force Support Squadron Director.



Duties
  1. This position does not meet minimum coverage for application of the GSSG as supervisory duties do not constitute a major duty occupying at least 25% of the incumbent's time.
  2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employee(s) regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
  3. Performs and provides detailed, technical review of purchase requests for specialized supplies, equipment, services, and commercial requirements.
  4. Solicits oral or written quotes and receives formal bids and quotes.
  5. Maintains accurate purchase information in the NAF Internet Based Purchasing System (IBPS) procurement automated system.
  6. Performs the duties of a Primary or Alternate Installation Purchase Card (P-Card) Coordinator for squadron.
