Job Summary:HCA Healthcare Pathology Services is seeking a Pathologist, Board Certified in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, for HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital.

Qualified Candidates:

AP/CP certification or board eligibilityAt least three years of hospital-based experienceActive Florida Medical License or eligible to obtainComfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for community hospital practiceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Experience building collaborative relationships with hospital staff and referring physicians.Pathology Work Description:Surgical volumes approximately 2800 per yearCytology 250 per yearProcedures (frozen sections and ROSE) 6-7 per weekClinical PathologyPeripheral smears 4-5 per dayBlood bank reviews 3-4 per monthHCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital has approximately 215 beds.
