Operations Manager, Day Shift, Environmental Services

As an Operations Manager you will:
• Be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the environmental services department and assisting the Director in any needed capacity.
• Directly oversee other department leadership and have indirect oversight of all housekeeping personnel.
• Establish and review standards and work procedures for all housekeeping staff in accordance with established policies and practices of the facility.
• Plan work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services are rendered to all areas.
• Interview, select, hire, evaluate, and recommend termination of facility housekeeping personnel in accordance with facility standards.
• Orient, train, and supervise all housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities.
• Schedule major project work, assuring that adequate staff and supplies are available.
• Conduct regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Assist unit director with budget
Qualified candidates will possess:
• Associate's degree with 3 years of environmental services experience and two 2 years of environmental/hospitality management experience in a health care environment required.
OR
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of environmental services experience and one 1 year of environmental/hospitality management experience in a health care environment preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of Environmental Services leadership experience required.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with every other weekend and rotating holidays

Tobacco and Drug Statement

("Nicotine products" include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, hookah, and nicotine replacement products (e.g., nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, etc.).
