Responsibilities

Be familiar with venue layout, procedures and building policiesAble to work with little supervisionAble to interact with guests and other staff in a positive and productive mannerMaintain control of your assigned sections or areaAnticipate and correct any trouble situations in your areaKnow general building information and locations of various amenitiesEnsure areas are safe for patrons and staffUse chemicals and equipment properly and safelyProvide exceptional customer service to all patrons

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age for all positionsMust be available for at least 1⁄2 of all events occurring within each monthPrior experience in similar job preferredAbility to manage high stress fast-paced environmentAble to work a variety of events including exhibit shows, concerts, conferences, conventions, meetings and banquetsMust have a pleasant and outgoing personalityMust be friendly, courteous and polite with a positive upbeat attitudeFor Maintenance, forklift operator safety certification is desired, but not requiredMaintenance and Housekeeping must have previous knowledge of cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment and their proper useAudio-Visual Operators must have prior knowledge and experience with AV equipment
