Job Summary:
\r

KanEquip-Solomon has an opening for a full-time Diesel Technician to service and repair agriculture, construction, and turf equipment. \r
\r
You will contribute to our team by: \r
*Using your skills to diagnose equipment to determine repairs needed and/or recommended for continued equipment reliability. \r
*Performing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel repairs on equipment. Responsible for performing quality work and attaining goals for efficiency. \r
*Completing all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner. \r
*Promoting teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members. \r
\r

Requirements:
\r

  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, service technician, field technician, or heavy equipment technician. \r
*Mechanic Toolset appropriate for required work. \r
*Knowledge and experience of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems \r
*Acceptable Motor Vehicle status \r
\r

Qualifications:
\r

*Associates of Applied Science or Certification in Diesel Technology, Agricultural Power/Technology or Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology. \r
*Able to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops \r
*Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends \r
*Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance \r

Compensation:
\r

*Salary Range-$20-$32/Hr Based on Experience \r
*Performance pay on billing efficiency \r
*Overtime pay after 40 hours \r
*$3000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates \r
\r
