City Dispatcher - $75,000 per year Full -Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts **will require flexibility to fill in on ALL shifts when needed**
Primary shift; Monday - Friday 8am to 630pm
Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented City Dispatcher to work in our Lumberton, NC Service Center office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Driver and Freight Handler Management
- Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
- Ensure Safety Compliance
- Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
- Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
- This position will require the flexibility to fill in on all shifts for supervisors who are absent or on vacation.
- Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.
- Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
- Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas
- Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred .
