The Threat Detection team is dedicated to identifying and addressing potential threats on the platform, providing crucial intelligence to stakeholders, and developing automation solutions for enforcement.

Collaborating with various teams including Safety Enforcement, User Research, and Community Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our enforcement policies and staying ahead in investigating platform behavior.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data to drive safety signal development and incident response strategies
  • Evolve metrics for Threat Detection to measure enforcement impact
  • Offer guidance on signal implementation to prevent exposure to harmful content
  • Share intelligence with safety stakeholders and decision-makers

Who You Might Be:

  • Over 6 years of experience in data science
  • Experience in intelligence analysis and threat hunting is beneficial
  • Proficient in SQL, Python or R programming, statistics, and network analyses
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach in fast-paced environments
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Problem-solving skills for ambiguous challenges
