Position Summary The main goal of this role is to carry out a range of cleaning and upkeep tasks to guarantee that the Fairgrounds facilities are clean, hygienic, and secure. You'll work weekdays for five to six hours each day, starting at a pay rate of $13.00 per hour.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of Fairgrounds office buildings and facilities by tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and refilling restroom supplies.

Special Projects
- Assist in setting up and cleaning event venues before and after events, including arranging tables, chairs, staging, and livestock stalls and pens.

1. Maintain high quality of work: Able to uphold high standards under tight deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed correctly the first time.
2. Good attention to detail: Capable of following detailed procedures and ensuring precision in project execution.
3. High energy level: Responds effectively to time demands, works at a quick pace, can multitask, and is motivated.

Educational/Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.

Work involves performing various recurring operations.

Supervision Received
This role will be under the supervision of the Associate Director of Operations, with actions clearly outlined by procedures or the manager. Assignments are provided and reviewed regularly.
