Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Security Lead who will be responsible for applying security principles, practices, and procedures under the RMF to maintain compliance with applicable security regulations governing the management of classified information systems. This job will support a contract tasked with designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining onsite and cloud-based enterprise IT solutions for an intelligence customer in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

A successful Systems Security Lead will be integral in fostering a culture of proactive risk management.

Responsibilities include:Identifying security control requirementsDeveloping and updating system security plansManaging and controlling changes to specific systems, assessing the security impact of those changes, and maintaining system security configurationSupporting achievement of Authorization to Test (A TT) and A TO for the Government's information systemsDirectly or indirectly implementing, monitoring/auditing, and reporting compliance with security controlsPreparing and completing action plansProviding security-related training and guidanceImplementing security-related changeRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or related technical field.8+ years of information security, information assurance, cyber security field, and/or other related work experience. 3+ years of experience monitoring NISPOM, ICD 503, or Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3 requirements, security frameworks, and other relevant security regulations.One of the below (or related) certifications:
  • Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification
  • International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience developing, integrating, and implementing Cybersecurity-related authorization packages and program protection standards for IC systems including the coordination, preparation, submission, and tracking of Interim Authorization to Test (IA TT), Interim Authorization to Operate (IA TO), A TO, and/or related security artifacts. Experience utilizing the RMF as applied within the IC and/or DOD communities. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
