There are so many children in need of a loving, safe and stable home. If you're looking for a way to make a difference, why not consider becoming a foster parent? You are needed

Service Alternatives contracts with the state of Washington to license and support foster parents. We provide excellent wrap around support to our foster homes and the children they care for.

We license treatment foster parents for children and teens between the ages of 6 and 18 years old who need some extra support in order to heal, grow and learn.


The support we provide includes:

  • A licenser to guide you through the licensing process
* $3014 monthly reimbursement. This is reimbursement for the care you provide to the child or teen in your home. (The monthly reimbursement is not considered income and the household must have another source of income).

  • Case Management Support - Case managers oversee all the communication for the child's team and create goals with input from all involved
  • Direct Support Professionals spend time with foster youth on a regular basis working on their goals
  • 24/7 support - you always have someone to call
  • Monthly respite as desired
  • A team approach

On May 24th we have our Virtual Foster Parent Information Sessions at 12 pm & 6 pm.
