Skill - Azure Cloud Specialist

Highly skilled Cloud Specialist (Sr. Associate - Projects) with 8-10 years of experience in Azure cloud services. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure cloud solutions to drive innovation and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will maximise their expertise in Azure Container Services, AKS, Virtual Machines, and administration to enhance our cloud capabilities and contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Analyze and identify the appropriate Azure cloud solutions to meet the organizations technology and business needs.
  • Design and implement cloud architectures using Azure Container Services and Azure AKS to ensure scalable and reliable applications.
  • Manage and optimize Azure Virtual Machines for dedication and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure robust security and compliance measures are in place by effectively using Azure Cloud Native Security features.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain the health performance and security of the cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on Azure cloud services.
  • Stay abreast of new Azure features and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement disaster recovery and data protection solutions using Azure Recovery Services Vault and Azure Backup.
  • Optimize network performance and connectivity through Azure Networking Services including Azure VPN Gateway and Azure Express Route.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Azure Container Services Azure AKS and Azure Virtual Machines is required.
  • Solid understanding of Azure administration and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience with Azure Security tools including Azure Key Vault and Azure Cloud Native Security is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Azure networking and monitoring services such as Azure Load Balancer Azure DNS and Azure Monitor is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SAP on Azure Azure SQL and Azure App Gateway will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects to completion.
  • Domain knowledge in Commercial Lending is beneficial but not mandatory.

The annual salary for this position is between $ $125000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
