Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic P&C F2

This position is part of the WAPA-SNR-Sierra Nevada Region. As a Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic P&C F2, you will provide leadership and direction for a crew of trade and craft employees in the operation and maintenance functions of high-voltage substations, transmission lines, associated facilities and equipment.

**This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to report to Elverta, CA.**

As an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic P&C F2, you will:

• Maintain, repair, modify, program, install and commission power system substation protection control, monitoring and metering equipment.
• Maintain, repair, install, program, and test polyphase revenue metering equipment, including electronic and microprocessor based kilowatt-hour meters, digital demand recorders, and instrument transformers.
• Maintain, repair, install, program, and test control equipment used in controlling substation equipment.
• The incumbent is expected to be a working member of the crew and assure that the crew's work assignments are carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Develop weekly, monthly, and annual work schedules.
• Develop regular work plans.
• Work with the crew to prioritize, coordinate, and accomplish routine work for optimum safety and operations, least adverse impact on landowners, the public, other agencies, and customers whose activities or property may be involved, and fair utilization of personnel.
• Provide leadership to ensure that the crew has clear work assignments and understands what is expected of them.
