Job Description:

This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.

Private Bank Controls and Supervision is engaged in executing a multi-year Private Bank Data Strategy and need an individual with strong technical background and a strategic / risk based mindset. He/she should have the ability to layout a strategic vision for sourcing and using data, plan out action steps and execute initiatives to a successful conclusion. The individual needs to understand systems, data and its lineage, data health and reporting. He/she should be able to effectively engage technology, line of business stakeholders and control partners to communicate the vision and gain consensus. This role requires a blend of expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology and data architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and driving various multifaceted data related initiatives to a successful conclusion by fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring that the work aligns with our strategic goals and is executed within the Bank's Risk Framework.

In order to achieve the objective, the Controls and Supervision team within the Private Bank business is looking for a candidate who can bring a level of maturity to the role and has experience in data, technology and project implementation to be successful in the role. The individual would also need to have good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
  • Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
  • Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
  • Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
  • Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
  • Develop, implement and manage comprehensive strategy for on Private Bank data
  • Engage and work closely with various teams including LOB stakeholders, multiple Technology teams and control partners to drive the data initiative to achieve success
  • Take decisions and drive the programs to successful conclusion through identification and prioritization of asks, alignment of resources while appropriately mitigating and escalating risks
  • Support regulatory, audit and internal business data needs, as necessary and ensure compliance with Enterprise Data Management standards
  • Monitor and report on progress, outcomes of initiatives and the impact of issues, adjusting priorities as necessary to achieve goals.
