Supervise and oversee the Wildland Fire Program at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA.
Provide wildfire suppression and detection on the installation of Fort Stewart and Hunter AAF.
Responsible for developing policy, technical specifications, forest access way planning/execution, equipment maintenance/repair.

Responsible for wildland fire management that is necessary to support the military training mission and wildland fire management goals.

Responsible for complying with regulations and laws (Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan (INRMP), Integrated Wildlife Management Plan (IWFMP), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) while completing wildland fire management goals.

Execute fire management plans with military training, sustainment production of forest products to include wildlife habitat, protection of cultural and archaeological resources, wetlands management, and outdoor recreation.

Supervise an engineering equipment operator supervisor and forestry technicians engaged in equipment operation duties, wildland fire activities, equipment maintenance and facilities maintenance.

Plan, assigns work, and perform progress reviews.
Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.

Maintain roads and environment construction to support natural resources management activities and for a modern mechanized military training division.
