Summary

You will serve as a Telecommunication Specialist in the Marine Corps Installation Command of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.

Duties
  • You will plan, develop, and manage one or more substantive national telecommunications infrastructures, policies, and/or programs.
  • You will develop technical strategies for major long-term communications acquisition projects associated to communication facilities and their telecommunication infrastructure.
  • You will design studies to assess communication facilities and required telecommunications capabilities to meet new business strategies or mission requirements.
  • You will advise top-level management on applying new technology in a telecommunications specialty area.
  • You will devise new analytical techniques to evaluate complex policy and program issues.
  • You will oversee the implementation of state-of-the-art telecommunications projects to support highly specialized or broad-range stakeholder's
    circuits and their networks and systems/operations.
  • You will participates in government-wide working groups, or develops strategies for capabilities to meet unique agency requirements.
  • You will participate in projects that prototype and pilot new telecommunication architectures, technologies, concepts and enhancements.
  • You will set priorities based on extensive knowledge of agency Communication Facilities and telecommunication programs, policies, and procedures, and redirect program efforts to meet changing deadlines and goals.
  • You will investigate and analyze how to expand major telecommunication technology modernization activities to comply with current national and international telecommunication regulations and industry standards.
