Summary

You will serve as a PURCHASING AGENT in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE, RESOURCES AND ASSESMENT DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.

A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. For additional information, please refer to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Chapter 5 Part B.



Duties
  • You will purchase material/services within Government Purchase Card warrant authority.
  • You will review purchase requests, convert purchase orders, and receipt material/services in the Accountable Property System of Record (Maximo).
  • You will provide status of material deliveries and follow up on overdue material.
  • You will contact vendors for incorrect or incomplete deliveries.
  • You will make recommendations on long lead time material, critical spare parts, recurring requirements for IDIQ contracts.
