Job Summary

The Warehouse Planner I position is responsible for the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) team for Ray Mine in the planning, administration & coordination of the Ray Mine Warehouse inventory levels, based on the MRP requirements & user input.


Job Responsibilities

  • Reviews MRP's suggested planned order requirements and carries out the necessary processes to guarantee material replenishment.
  • Analyzes historical consumption data & market information to propose optimal inventory levels for consumables, spare parts & other materials.
  • Follow up with local warehouses on stock levels for critical materials to ensure optimal replenishment & address supply chain issues.
  • Work collaboratively with business units, catalog, and purchasing resources on integration solutions.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to customer service; anticipates, meets, and exceeds expectations by solving problems.
  • Responsible for executing, supporting, and enforcing the Company's Environmental, Health, and Safety program as required by OIS policy, directives, and principles.
Skills & Experiences Required

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Inventory Management.
  • Working experience with data related to any of the following areas: Supply Chain, Mining, Purchasing, Finance, Planning, logistics.
  • Handson experience in any enterprise ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Good understanding and experience working in an agile environment.
