Job Summary

The Lecturer position in Mathematics is responsible for teaching primarily lower-level mathematics courses, occasionally possibly teaching higher-level mathematics courses, advising students, and providing service to the department/college/university.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in mathematics, mathematical sciences, or mathematics education with a minimum of 18 hours in graduate mathematics courses
  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching lower-level mathematics courses
  • Ph.
D. in Mathematics or Mathematical Sciences

  • Experience in effectively implementing different technologies in teaching mathematics
  • Experience in effectively implementing active learning techniques in teaching mathematics
