You will set priorities for projects, prepares budgetary justifications and coordinates the allocation of resources to implement plans and projects.

You will design networks or systems to meet planning concepts, monitors or resolves technical communications problems in the preparation of facilities and the procurement of equipment.

You will report directly to MCRD/ERR Chief of Staff and directly supervises four (4) sections/division made up of eighteen (18) civilians, thirty-one (31) Marines and three (3) contractors.

You will perform technical and analytical work in the planning, development, or modification of all communication systems, facilities, services to each unit, organization or activity located at MCRD Parris Island.

You will analyze or create new operating procedures and directives for several large networks which provide both national and international capabilities.

You will collaborate with managers and technical personnel in developing procurement specifications and evaluating contractor proposals for the development of communications systems.

You will serve as the technical expert and principal point of contact for IT, IA and telecommunications systems requirements.

You will plan, manage and coordinate the acquisition, implementation, maintenance and distribution of data process, information resource management and telecommunication systems including the execution of evaluation studies.

You will developments plans, programs, budgets, and implementation of all IT and Telecommunication services, programs and projects for the Command, including the development and execution of the strategic information technology plan.
