This position is a tenure-track assistant professor appointment beginning in August 2024. A Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics (or a closely related field) is required. The ideal person for this role is committed to being an outstanding teacher-scholar within a primarily undergraduate institution.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics (or a closely related field) is required.
- Ability to foster student learning, development, and decision making in support of their goals, success, wellness, and needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly and effectively with a diversity of populations.
- Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others.
