Job Description
Seeking a candidate with professional experience in supporting students of varied ages and developmental levels who uses an interactive style that is playful, affectual and engaging.
A strong foundation and understanding of language development is required as well as a willingness to embrace the Mirowitz culture that fosters honesty, kindness, compassion and social responsibility.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Missouri License Required Professional experience with Kindergarten through Elementary grades ASHA certification 1099 Part-Time Position (small caseload, four to six in-person, on-site, scheduled hours per week) Guaranteed four hours for direct services Competitive hourly rate ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student academic and cognitive-communicative success Provide individual and group speech and language therapy sessions for kindergarten and lower elementary grades, integrating speech and language goals per the student's Individualized Education Programs or Individual Support Plans Maintain accurate and up to date records of screenings, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards. Compensation
Salary is competitive with area independent schools and commensurate with experience. Excellent health and retirement benefits are part of the employment package.
