Job Overview - Billing Specialist- 32792

We are seeking a Billing Specialist for our client located in the Matthews, NC area. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of billing experience and exceptional attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Generate and process accurate invoices for products and services rendered.
  • Review billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary information for billing purposes.
  • Maintain billing records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding billing matters.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline billing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in billing or related financial roles.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
