Description:The Director of Advanced Practice Providers provides leadership, clinical management & administrative oversight in the development of strategic planning and operations for all advanced practice providers in the service line. The Director is accountable for mentoring direct reports to assure achievement of the organizations vision and goals. Oversees quality evidence-based outcomes and advanced practice models. Responsible for the development, implementation and revision of policies, procedures and protocols, in collaboration with the administration and physician leadership to ensure compliance and attainment of the organizations goals. Monitors and conforms to the professional standards, accreditation and regulatory requirements impacting the organization. Clinical and/or surgical coverage (if Hospital credentialed) may be required as per specialty specific needs.
Estimated salary range for this position is $ $ / year depending on experience.Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree preferred / Masters required. 10 Years or more as an APRN or PA-C including a minimum 2 years as Manager of Advanced Practice. Active Florida License as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant required. Must comply with State of Florida requirements for CME and licensure renewal. National Certification, DEA License and BLS Certification required. If APRN requires hospital inpatient medical staff privileges and does not have an acute care certification, refer to BHSF Policy 701 titled Educational and training requirements to be credentialed to work in an acute care setting for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Minimum Required Experience: 10 years
