Housekeeping

We are a busy family of 6. We are also business owners and need some assistance with daily household chores. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with house maintenance tasks twice a week.

Responsibilities:
-Unload clean dishes into their designated places in the kitchen.
-Reload the dishwasher with dirty dishes.
-Hand wash large dishes and set them in the drying rack.
-Fold any clean laundry that is not yet folded.
-Put away clean laundry in designated areas.
-Help maintain the organization of the closets in the master bedroom and laundry management for the parents only - not for the kids.
-Light vacuum of the living room area.
-Quick sweep of the kitchen floor to help minimize tracking of dust, pet hair, and other debris from a large busy family with animals.
-Perform general tidying up around the common areas (living room and kitchen) to maintain a clean and organized environment.
-1x per week - pick up the toys in the toddler's bedroom.
-Make up master bed as needed -- no changing the sheets.

** The only two bedrooms you will need to touch is the master bedroom and toddler room. In the master the housekeeper will put away clean clothes and help maintain the closet organization. They may also make the master bed if it is unmade, but will not be required to change sheets. 1x per week the housekeeper will do a very light pick up of the toddler bedroom. Please note that this position does not include deep cleaning tasks such as bathroom cleaning, heavy-duty carpet cleaning, changing sheets, or outdoor maintenance. There will be no requirement to enter the other bedrooms or bathrooms in the house (other than the ones listed above) in order to perform this role as it is focused more on the common areas of the home, general daily chores, and laundry maintenance.

Requirements:

-Trustworthy and reliable person who is comfortable with the personal nature of this role.
-Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving items as needed.
-Ability to work independently while following guidelines and instructions.
-Respect for the privacy and personal space of the home's occupants.

Work Hours: Twice a week visits, during the work day, between 9am-3pm. Each visit will last approximately 2 hours.
