Lebanon, Pennsylvania, United States Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Full time

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is the leading academic/medical facility in Northern New England. We are located in Lebanon, NH, offering the quintessential New England experience, yet with only a two-hour drive to Boston, Maine, or the Canadian border, while NYC is just 4 hours away. The Audiology Section at DHMC provides a range of diagnostic and amplification/management options for all ages and works closely with the Otolaryngology/Otology Section. Various behavioral hearing tests and auditory physiologic measures are performed, including sedated and unsedated ABRs, OAEs, VNGs, and VEMPs.

Children less than five years of (developmental) age are often tested using a two-tester paradigm. Our aural rehabilitation services include hearing aid dispensing, cochlear implant management, osseointegrated devices and hearing assistive technology (HAT). We currently have ten audiologists, three with pediatric caseloads and seven with adult caseloads. Our team also includes two hearing instrument specialists, two pediatric test assistants, an educational consultant, and a part-time social worker. The clinic strives to practice evidence-based audiology and employs best-practice standards. Lead preceptors hold their CCC-A.
