Diagnostic Radiology Physician Assignment in Hawaii

A healthcare facility in Hawaii is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide temporary coverage during the recruitment of a permanent provider. This role involves covering two nearby locations, with comprehensive travel and lodging accommodations included.

Practice Setting:

  • The Radiology department includes 15-17 radiologists
  • Cases per shift are approximately 50 plain films, 20 ultrasounds, and 30 computed tomography
  • Inpatient setting within a nonprofit healthcare organization

Schedule:

  • 5 days per week
    • 7:
      30 AM - 5:
      00 PM and noon - 9:
      00 PM
    • Occasional evening call coverage needed from 4:
      30 PM - 9:
      00 PM

Cases and Procedures:

  • Case mix includes plain films, ultrasound, computed tomography
    • MRI is advantageous but not required

Travel and Accommodations:

  • Lodging, airfare, and rental car are covered

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist
  • CSR, BLS, and DEA required
  • Active Hawaii medical license
  • COVID vaccination is required
