SUMMARY OF DUTIES:


Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the base-wide Single Marine Program which consists of a comprehensive program of social, cultural, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities targeting Marines and Sailors ages 18 to 25 years.

Assist in developing, scheduling, organizing, publicizing, directing and evaluating both recurring and non-recurring activities which take place during off duty hours.

Coordinates special events and joint community programs which ensure effective use of facilities and other resources. Coordinates programs with other MCCS departments as well as outside sources.

Assist in forming, coordinating, and maintaining a counsel of Marines to address Quality of Life (QOL) issues and maintains communication with Marines on Base.

Assists with preparing and conducting briefings and orientations, concerning various aspect of the Single Marine Program for commands, visitors, and newly arrived single and unaccompanied service members.

Responsible for all supplies and equipment necessary for operations. Ensures proper internal controls are being met. Assists in resolving complaints from patrons and solicits feedback to improve quality of service provided.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.

Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
