The Everett Clinic (part of Optum) is looking to add a full-time Occupational Medicine provider to their team. As a member of the Occupational Medicine team, you will work with a diverse group of providers, offering care to Everett Clinic patients and community workers dealing with work-related injuries, illnesses, and exposures. The commitment to excellence has positioned us as a Center of Occupational Health and Education (COHE).

Your responsibilities:

  • Concentrate on work-related injury/illness and occupational exposures
  • Center of Occupational Health and Education (COHE): Recognized for outstanding care and adherence to L&I best practices as one of only 6 designated COHE facilities in Washington State
  • Flexible Schedules: Tailor your work-life balance with choices like a 4-day work week and designated administrative time
  • Onboarding: Comprehensive onboarding program spanning 7 weeks for new hires, gradually building up to a full patient load
  • Robust Support: Access administrative and clinical assistance dedicated to facilitating your practice, including health service coordinators for claims management
  • Typical Day: Attend to 15-17 patients daily, with 60 minutes allocated for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups
  • Leadership Opportunities: Providers interested in leadership can grow into roles within the department and the organization

Compensation package:

  • $40,000 starting bonus
  • Competitive base salary with attractive incentives, productivity-based salary post first year
  • Generous benefits including 4 weeks+ vacation, 1 week CME with stipend, malpractice and insurance coverage

Requirements:

  • BE/BC in Preventative Medicine, Occupational Medicine or relevant field
  • Unrestricted WA State Medical License and current WA DEA certificate before start date

If you are a Washington resident, the salary range is $220,000 to $280,000 per year. Your pay is based on various factors such as education, experience, and certifications, in addition to a full benefits package. OptumCare promotes diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities.
