Job Summary

We are searching for a talented Nail Technician to join our team at Lux By Lex Nail Salon. In this role, you will offer manicures, pedicures, and various nail enhancement services like Acrylic, Gel-X, and Structured Gel Manicures to our valued clients. Your duties will involve evaluating each customer's specific requirements, suggesting suitable products and services, and advising on care methods. Responsibilities for the nail technician position include delivering excellent customer service, applying nail enhancements, crafting nail art, shaping, polishing, and upholding a safe and hygienic work environment. Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service

Collaborate effectively and positively with team

Maintain a clean workspace and follow proper infection control procedures for both salon equipment and services

Evaluate each client's nails and recommend nail care and treatment

Clean and shape fingernails and toenails

Remove previously applied polish and apply new polish

Apply artificial and gel and acrylic nails

Apply nail art and design

Provide hand and foot massages

Open to learning new techniques

Qualifications

Must be Licensed Manicurist/Nail Technician under MA State Board of Cosmetology

Previous experience as a Manicurist/Nail Technician preferred

Up-to-date on the latest trends in nail technology or willing to learn

Strict adherence to sanitation and sterilization procedures

Excellent customer service and communication skills
