\tThe purpose of the Shuttle Driver Trainee-DOT is to train to perform pickup and delivery of daily routes to domicile drivers and return empty trailers for reloading back to the warehouse.\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tTrain to perform as a safe and courteous shuttle driver and demonstrate BEK principles during interactions with the public and customers.\r
\t\r
\t\tMaintain cleanliness of tractors/trailers used during the shift to ensure the upkeep and overall condition of equipment.\r
\t\r
\t\tAlways adhere to all FMCSA laws and regulations to demonstrate compliance.\r
\t\r
\t\tEnsure trailers and tractors are adequately fueled and fuel levels are consistently maintained on equipment used at the warehouse or shuttle site.\r
\t\r
\t\tOccasionally complete deliveries to customers to/from the warehouse or shuttle site as needed.\r
\t\t \r

\tJob Qualifications\r

\t\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) Preferred\r
\t\r
\t\tAt least 6 months of DOT driving experience required\r
\t\r
\t\tValid Class A CDL with Doubles endorsement\r
\t\r
\t\tKnowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations required\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions\r
\t\r
\t\tGood computer skills\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to learn internal applications i.e.... On-Board Computer and Proof of Delivery equipment\r
\t\r
\t\tAble to work outside in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to follow instructions and take direction\r
\t\r
\t\tMust be able to lift and move dolly tongue and cases weighing up to 90 pounds occasionally\r
\t\t \r
\r
\r
