We are searching for a Phlebotomist float to join our hospital team at a Quaternary care facility located in the Swedish Ballard and Swedish Cherry Hill campuses. In this role, you will provide coverage at multiple locations, deliver top-notch customer service, and carry out skilled specimen collections.

Compensation Package:

  • Pay Range: $20.07/hourly - $28.52/hourly (plus 2nd shift differential)
  • Float Differential: $2.00/hourly
  • Work Schedule: Friday to Monday, 2:00pm - 12:30am (4x10)
  • Work Location: Seattle, WA and Ballard, WA

Benefits: Full-time or part-time employees (working 24+ hours per week) are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), Annual Leave, Holidays, and Sick Leave.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections using various techniques
  • Collect specimens for different tests
  • Accurately enter patient data
  • Process billing information
  • Prepare specimens for testing
  • Maintain patient and specimen logs
  • Offer superior customer service
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Travel to other sites as required

Job Requirements:

This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination. Candidates must hold a valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License, have prior phlebotomy experience, be at least 21 years old, possess excellent communication skills, work well independently or in a team, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work overtime if necessary.
