Hill AFB, United States BAE Systems Full time
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a dynamic and exceptional Project Manager to support the Post Boost Attitude Control Module (PBACM) Team on the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) system, knowns as the Sentinel ICBM Program. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and oversight throughout the lifecycle of the PBACM acquisition process, from planning and design through implementation and delivery.

Why Sentinel (formerly GBSD)?
The Sentinel Program is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. Without a doubt, Sentinel is one of the Department of Defense's (DoD) most important acquisition efforts for the next decade, if not longer. It includes a complete refurbishment or replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command and control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. Sentinel is one of the DoD's newest official "programs of record," having recently achieved Acquisitions Milestone B and enjoys broad, strong support at the national level. It is a long-term project with the weapon system anticipated to deploy over a nine-year period beginning in 2026 and remaining operational until at least 2075. Sentinel is a career defining program that will present unique and challenging opportunities that are simply not available with smaller projects.

Communication: Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders, provide updates on project status, milestones achieved, and key decisions to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the program.Leadership: ensure a cohesive and dynamic team atmosphere, guiding and supporting project team members under the oversight of the leadership to optimize their capabilities and enhance their contributions to the program. Why BAE Systems?
