About the Position: Procurement Analyst position for Mission and Installation Contracting (MICC) located at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Responsible for the analysis, review, and evaluation of a myriad of unusual, unique, complex procurement policies associated with the acquisition process and/or controversial contracting matters.



Duties
  • Serve as Procurement Analyst responsible for the analysis, review, and evaluation of procurement policies associated with the acquisition process.
  • Serve as action officer to develop recommendations for solicitations and contracts according to regulatory requirements.
  • Provides advice/training to management/staff/customers on procurement issues and/or policy proposals to ensure mission requirements are met.
  • Responsible for training/communicating ideas, proposed innovations, and/or lessons learned to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of Government operations.
  • Conduct special studies to determine and resolve contractual issues.
  • Evaluates contract actions taken by installation Contracting Offices to ensure compliance with regulations, acquisition laws and policies.
  • Conducts research to analyze the latest market trends, commercial practices, and technological advances.
