\tPali Wine Co. is looking to add a Harvest Intern to our fantastic team at the winery. This position is seasonal and will report to the Associate Winemaker.\r

\r

\tResponsibilities:
\r

\r
\t\r
\t\tMaintaining a clean workspace, including sanitizing equipment\r
\t\r
\t\tRacking, blending, filling barrels, etc.\r
\t\r
\t\tTransporting cased goods and barrels via a forklift\r
\t\r
\t\tPerform required tasks during harvest including processing, inoculations, additions, quality control, sample collecting, etc.\r
\t\r
\t\tSome laboratory analyses as needed\r
\t\r
\t\tFollowing safety procedures and protocols\r
\t\r
\t\tOther duties as may be needed\r
\r
\r

\t\tA committed and team player work ethic\r
\t\r
\t\tA positive and winning attitude\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to work outdoors and indoors with varying temperature situations\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to climb, bend, stand and sit for prolonged lengths of time\r

\t\tAbility to lift up to 50lbs\r
\t\r
\t\tWillingness to work on elevated surfaces and occasionally on wet surfaces\r
\t\r
\t\tConsistent awareness of moving forklifts and winery equipment\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to work long and flexible hours through the bottling season and busy harvest\r
\t\r
\t\tPrevious production experience in cellar and barrel operations (preferred)\r
\t\r
\t\tGood oral and written communication skills\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to lawfully work without sponsorship\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to multi-task and be organized\r
\r
\r

\r

\tSalary Range:
$18 - $20/hour\r
