Purpose of the job

The CTO/ETO Proposal Specialist serves as a liaison between Rockwell Automation and Codale for creating proposals for MCCs based on customer specifications and communicating the technical proposals to customers.

Key Responsibilities

This position will participate in all commercial programs aligned with supporting the proposal activities for configured-to-order and engineered-to-order package solutions for drives, industrial controls, and automation products.

Extract pertinent information from technical documentation to generate bill of materialsUnderstands applicable industrial components, low voltage drive products and how to apply them in MCCs and other packaged solutionsWork collaboratively with other CTO/ETO specialistsManage order entry, document review and deliverySupports internal customers with technical quotes per requirementsCustomer-centric, professionally represents selfHonest and fair in dealings with othersAbility to manage issue to resolution while providing positive customer experienceDevelop, maintain, and nurture relationship with Codale partner Rockwell AutomationProficient in using configuration tools including Power Control Builder to create proposalsProficient in using Proposal Works to configure products and request packaged solution proposalsAccurately documents clarifications and exceptions to customer specification in proposals
Minimum work experience requirements:

2+ years of experience in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentationAbility to manage multiple partner and customer relationships while achieving outcomesAbility to speak with customers, demonstrating technical expertise while instilling confidence and credibilityFamiliarity with electricity and electrical distribution
Minimum education requirements:

2 to 4-year degree preferred, but not requiredCombination of skills, experience and/or education acceptable
Other skills/experience desired:

Experience with Office 365 SuiteHigh proficiency with Excel preferredAbility to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personalityPossession of good sense of humorStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong creativity and critical thinking abilitiesAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyPossess reliable problem-solving abilityAbility to regularly overcome obstacles
