Summary

You will serve as a PURCHASING AGENT in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.



Duties
  • You will screen assigned procurement requests to determine availability, certification of funding, or completeness of information.
  • You will advise customers of product characteristics (e.g., available sizes, quantities, brand names, packaging, or other characteristics) to identify sources of supply.
  • You will procure supplies or services through the use of the government purchase card.
  • You will conduct market research of specialized and commercial supply requirements to comply with military and federal specifications.
