Large mix of cases.Rural surgery residency training program.Regional referral center. ACS Cancer Center.Surgeries/Admissions: St. Mary s Medical Center a 380-bed tertiary hospital, consistently ranked among America s Top 100 HospitalsCertified as HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) Level 7 for both our Inpatient and Ambulatory facilitiesMiller-Dwan Medical Center a 175-bed Specialized Care FacilitySt. Mary s Hospital Superior-25 beds, Critical Access HospitalAccredited Trauma Program/ Level I Trauma Center with ACS/Trauma/Critical Care surgeons dedicated to the program.
POSITION DESRIPTIONFull-time position is needed due to planned retirementThe selected candidate will focus on colorectal surgery and supplement his/her practice with general surgery cases as needed
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONSBC/BE in General SurgeryFellowship in Colorectal Surgery, ABCRS certified or eligibleCandidates should be proficient in the full spectrum of colorectal surgeryCandidates should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
