Plant/Facility IT Support Technician:

We are a leading company in the food manufacturing industry, committed to providing high quality products and services to our customers. We are looking for a Plant/Facility IT Support Technician to join our team and provide on-site IT services. This role involves managing computer/network components, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems at the assigned locations. Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage all computer/network components including servers, switches, and desktop systems
  • Program Cisco Switches for Local Area Network
  • Resolve production floor network connectivity issues
  • Provide hardware and network support for 'Production Floor' computer systems
  • Maintain the CCTV camera system
  • Support users with User Account generation and User Access Control requests
  • Plan and coordinate with vendors for support and plant projects
  • Maintain physical security system
  • Assist in afterhours emergency network maintenance for production
  • Monitor help desk tickets and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications:

  • Three years related experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Windows OS, and Office
  • Understanding of Citrix desktop/client and Cisco Switch configurations
  • Knowledge of Network cabling and connectivity
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills
  • Willingness to work in a plant/industrial environment
  • Travel may be required

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to sit, reach, talk, and hear
  • Lifting of equipment not in excess of 50lbs
  • Specific vision abilities required including close vision

Work Environment:

  • Corporate working environment
  • Food manufacturing operations

Educational Requirement:

High School Diploma/GED; Associates degree or two years of college coursework in related field
