You will be responsible for testing samples of our raw materials and finished products and communicating those test results to the appropriate departments.
You will regularly interact with all our departments for safety checkups. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience in multiple areas across QA & Safety to strengthen your skillset. Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 4:30 pm – Midnight. Pay rate: $17.50/hour The training process will be during the daytime, and it will be arranged after the interview process. Responsibilities:
  • Analyze finished product using various test methods, including wet chemistry
  • Perform manufacturing line inspections
  • Perform sensory evaluations of in process and finished product
  • Sample and test incoming ingredients that include, but are not limited to physical testing, salmonella and EB testing, environmental sampling, and testing bins, sacks, and totes
  • Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols
  • Promote Quality and Food Safety culture in the organization
  • Teaching managers, leaders, and employees in the company about health and safety standards
  • Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
  • Reviewing and recommending changes to regular activities
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 + years working in quality, food manufacturing, production, manufacturing, military, or related environment.
