Thanks Always Best Care Senior Services - Cleveland South is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver in Brunswick, Ohio.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to elderly clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, dignity, and overall well-being.
You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our senior clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Escort clients to appointments, social events, and other outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate parties
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
- Follow all protocols and procedures set by Always Best Care Senior Services and communicate any concerns or issues to the team
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation, including care plans and progress notes Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transferring clients
