At Regions, the Head of Digital serves as the primary senior leader for the digital banking function in the Technology, Operations, Digital and Data (TODD) organization. This role is accountable for leading digitally focused client research, user experience design and digital product management of digital properties and day-to-day management of digital properties. This includes collaborating with business units (Consumer, Corporate Banking Group and Wealth) to align on multi-year roadmaps, effectively communicating both the short-term and long-term digital outcomes This role reports directly to the Chief Enterprise Operations and Technology Officer. Acts as a proactive leader with an emphasis on strategic planning and execution to meet business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Defines and develops digital and digital payments strategy to align with the broader organization's strategy and goals
  • Drives execution of multi-year, cross business unit digital and digital payments roadmap to achieve targeted return on investment
  • Unifies and stimulates cross-collaboration between the different areas of the digital function as well as the business units (Consumer, Corporate Banking Group and Wealth)
  • Partners closely with business unit and technology leaders to drive execution including delivery of high-quality experiences to clients
  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders across Regions
  • Implements objectives, policies, and plans within the business units
  • Coordinates activities with other areas of the company
  • Leads the creation and refinement of digital operational processes to ensure effective audit and regulatory compliance and effective mitigation of fraud in partnership with the Financial Crimes Unit and Cybersecurity
  • Manages financial performance for scope of responsibility providing effective forecasts and taking action where needed to meet budget

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

This is a single incumbent position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, eBusiness, Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • Fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible related experience
  • Seven (7) years of supervisory/management experience leading scaled teams

Preferences

  • Prior financial services experience
  • Prior digital banking experience
  • Proven track record of building and leading teams

  • Ability to develop strategic plans and deploy strategies
  • Ability to partner within and across departments to achieve goals
  • Advanced understanding of digital banking
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Proven track record on executing large, complex multi-year digital and payments roadmaps across multiple businesses

  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$301,410.40 USD

50th Percentile:

$410,260.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.Location:Hoover, Alabama
