Tech Writer Tester Creates, maintains, and supports software documentation within the Eviden-Nimbix HPC cloud platform. Tests features to be able to write effective documentation.

Responsibilities

Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write product documentation, feature documentation, release notes for operating the software

Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement

Work with developers to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage

Test software product and provide feedback to the development team

Research and adopt alternative mediums for documentation to provide ease of access for internal and external users.

Participate in the Engineering process as directed Minimum Qualifications

A qualified candidate has:

5 or more years of professional experience as an effective Technical Writer

Proven ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise documentation

Experience in writing technical documentation for various audiences

Proficiency with technical writing tools and software

Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience, refine content, and create

visuals and diagrams for technical support content

Experience with usability testing, black box testing, user acceptance testing

Experience in working with multiple simultaneous projects Ideal candidate

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or relevant technical field

Experience in using Markdown, markup language or XML tools to create documentation

Experience with Linux - Experience with HPC (high performance computing)

Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm Charts

Experience working in Agile teams using the Scrum process

Professional certification (ex: Society for Technical Communication)
