Dermatologist/Mohs Surgeon

Busy Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology practice in beautiful South Florida seeks a Board Certified Dermatologist/Mohs Surgeon to join their growing practice of 1 full time Dermatologist, 1 Plastic Surgeon, 2 physician assistants, and 3 aestheticians. Seeking a Dermatologist/Mohs surgeon who is interested either in 2-4 days per week for Mohs, Surgical Excisions of benign and cancerous lesions, lasers and injectables, and medical full body skin examinations, etc. The practice has 20 lasers and devices. Current surgical volume includes approximately 40 Mohs cases per month and 40-60 surgical excisions per month. The practice was started 6 years ago by Dr. Francesca Lewis, MD, FAAD and has grown to a staff of near 40 in that time. This is a physician owned non-PE practice. The practice has a generous spend on marketing and is very well respected and well-connected within the community. The practice is a top 500 Allergan practice nationally. Dr. Lewis is a trainer and speaker for Allergan.

The ideal candidate for this position will have been practicing post residency 2+ years, board certified in Dermatology and Mohs. Prefer a candidate who is also interested in and has had training in cosmetic injectables and lasers and willing to also seeing medical Dermatology especially skin cancer patients for full body skin exams and surveillance.

Flexible and willing to accommodate part time or full time schedule.

The practice is a modern, high end center that strives to achieve an unsurpassed level of excellence for Dermatologic care. Modernizing Medicine, EMA, is used as the EMR. All providers have 2-3 medical assistants that function as scribes and assistants. Practice accepts almost all commercial insurances and Medicare and collects deductibles at the time of visit for all medical appointments therefore resulting in very low AR.

Employed position with salary plus percentage bonus structure based on experience and number of days desired. IRA with match, PTO, CME time off and allowance, health insurance provided.
