SUMMARY STATEMENT:

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our team and help us build cutting-edge models for in-store retail execution. You will play a key role in developing and implementing AI solutions that will optimize our in-store operations and enhance the customer experience.

TYPE OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Assignments are checked to verify progress, through a reporting mechanism, by the Director of Software Development.

What would you do in this role?

DUTIES AND TASKS, Including but not limited to the following:

Seeks minimum guidance on the following tasks:

· Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for tasks such as discreet object detection in retail environments.

· Leverage your expertise in deep learning architectures like DINO, SpineNet, and ResNet to build robust and accurate models.

· Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of AI models into our retail execution systems.

· Continuously monitor and evaluate model performance, making adjustments and improvements as needed.

· Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI for retail applications.

· Provides support for the resolution of production problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models.
  • Strong understanding of deep learning architectures, particularly DINO, SpineNet, and ResNet.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Excellent programming skills (Python preferred).
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Requires robust critical thinking, analysis, and creativity skills, a strong desire to deal with complex technology and business issues, and excellent people skills
