Role Overview

Responsibilities
  • Underwrite various casualty business lines and engage in production and marketing activities within a collaborative team environment.
Duties
  • Underwrite professional liability treaty business
  • Collaborate with international colleagues
  • Develop a profitable business portfolio
  • Analyze reinsurance opportunities
  • Cultivate client relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Travel for client meetings and industry events
  • Negotiate with brokers on business deals
Skills and Qualifications
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical abilities
  • Collaborative and adaptable mindset
  • Sound business judgment and integrity
  • Prioritize tasks effectively
  • Minimum of 5-10 years in underwriting roles
  • Industry designations and advanced degrees preferred
  • Knowledge of pricing concepts and actuarial principles
