HDR is hiring a Cost Control Specialist for our Construction Services Group in South Florida.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze cost reports and costing audits
- Identify cost reporting issues and correct and/or communicate as needed
- Coordinate cost reports, cost control and revisions on related projects
- Maintain communications and records of cost information and related cost estimating sources, cost indexes and references
- Work as an integral member of project teams, and coordinate several projects concurrently as needed
- Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering and/or construction background
- Highway/bridge experience
- Earned Value Management experience
- PMIS experience
- Data Visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, Quickbase, etc)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in cost management for construction projects
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
- Familiar with Microsoft Project, cost estimating and control software and PMIS experience
- Must have good organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to handle multiple, diverse assignments
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
