Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5pm; lunch daily - 2

$42-$50 per hour plus bonus

Responsibilities

  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
  • Take and develop dental xrays
  • Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment
  • Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history accurately in electronic dental records systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications

  • Valid state dental hygiene license
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
