Job Summary:
Orthopedic Hand Surgery opportunity in southwest Jacksonville FL area to join a well-established private practice of 3 other orthopedic surgeons.Qualified Candidates:
- Must have completed an ACGME accredited Orthopedic surgery residency and an Orthopedic Hand Surgery fellowship
- Must be board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
- No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
- Have current, unrestricted DEA registration
- Employment is offered through the private practice
- Competitive Base salary with productivity bonuses
- Hospital will offer some financial support during first year to allow physician time to ramp up

- This team of orthopedic surgeons located in Jacksonville, Florida, have more than 25 years of practice experience in the field
- Committed to providing the best quality care for each patient
- Each of the clinic's physicians has an area of interest or subspecialty, which means patients receive expert treatment for their conditions
- Join practice with 3 other orthopedic surgeons and 1 PA
- Practice call will be shared amongst the providers in the group
- Incoming Hand Surgeon will participate in Hand Call at hospital – hospital is a level II trauma center
- A full-service, level II trauma and acute-care hospital with 411 beds including 10 ORs and 40 ICU beds
- 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation center and 24-bed psychiatric unit
- Hospital is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in Clay County
- 9 ACGME residencies/fellowships
- 44 bed emergency department with 2 dedicated trauma bays with 112,000 annual patient visits
