Requirements

  • Active RN License
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS Certification
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care Med/Surg
  • Additional requirements set by the client facility

Duties Responsibilities

Medical-Surgical Nurses (RN) care for adult patients pre and post-surgery and those undergoing pharmaceutical treatment. With a wide array of medical conditions encountered, they need to be knowledgeable in various health conditions.

  • Follow physician's instructions
  • Provide routine and post-surgical care
  • Monitor patient's health changes and administer treatments
  • Dispense medication
  • Diligent documentation of treatments and medications for seamless care coordination
